District 306 C Presents Coffe Morning On 29th September 2002 at 9 a.m. At Ceylon Continental Hotel, Colombo (In aid of Scholarships for the Underprivileged children) Rs.500/=

Activities :

YEAR PLAN FOR 2002 / 2003 JUNE / JULY 2002 • Induct new office bearers • Honor Past President’s • Draw up a calendar and print Club Directory, letter heads etc. • Appoint Committees and assign duties • Any new members for orientation • Book a date from the DG for Charter AUGUST • Committee to report on assigned duties • Recognize Lion Ladies • I / D dues SEPTEMBER • Environment Day – Identify a road/ street and clean it up, get media coverage • Present some plants to school for planting • Zone Chairman’s’ visit OCTOBER • Induct new members • A speech on UN Day at a school and organize a speaker from UN • White cane day – Eye camp or Have a project at blind school or a similar place • UNIVERSAL CHLDRENS DAY- Donate books to school children NOVEMBER • Peace Poster Competition – participate • Region Chairman’s visit at a RCM / BM • Give alms on the Poya day for sil devotees DECEMBER • WORLD AIDS DAY – a seminar at school • A X’mas party for children at orphanage • A trip outing • Prepare for Charter, venue etc • Re – check charter date from Governor JANUARY 2003 • Organize a Pirith ceremony – region wise • Honor MJF • Prepare to honor PDG club level • Check on Charter program • I /D dues FEBRUARY • Honor PDG • Volleyball Tournament • Appoint nomination committee • Check on Charter duties assigned MARCH • Charter Celebrations • Appoint voting delegates • Nomination committee • Double check on dues otherwise no voting APRIL • Arrange for a SuwaUdana program or a meal to World health day – Cancer Hospital • Election meeting and inform International of elected officers • Inform new member to attend school for club officers MAY • National Heroes Day – meal or a donation to War victims • Convention • Multiple convention JUNE • Installation of new office bearers • International convention
